Nursing home PeLago

The Pelago nursing home in Rorschacherberg offers space for elderly people of various care levels. The fourth floor of the PeLago nursing home was extensively renovated and remodelled to provide residents with a modern and comfortable environment. A key concern was to ensure accessibility and fulfil standards appropriate for the elderly. The aim was also to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that promotes a sense of well-being.

The rooms were furnished with carefully selected oak furniture. The rooms have an integrated bench, a dining table and chairs as well as a multifunctional shelf that serves as storage and decoration space. These pieces of furniture combine aesthetics and functionality and offer residents both comfort and practicality. The large windows provide sufficient daylight in the rooms. A warm, dimmable light creates a pleasant ambience. A customised, seamless floor covering with a floral graphic provides additional accents and lends the room a cosy touch.

The newly built flats also have a fully equipped kitchen, allowing residents to prepare their own meals. Two comfortable beds are available in the flats, which are suitable for both individuals and couples. Generous built-in oak wardrobes provide ample storage space for clothes and personal belongings. The rooms and flats are complemented by an age-appropriate bathroom with shower. The newly designed lounge area offers residents cosy seating with a high quality of stay as well as a lounge with adjustable, senior-friendly armchairs.
