The office building for the boutique general contractor P Vision is characterised by raw, natural materials such as copper, exposed concrete and mineral floors that were processed with the highest precision and nobility. This reflects the raw material-based character of the construction industry, as well as the high standards of the client's structural realisation.

The geometry of the building and the raw concrete ceiling required precise planning of the lighting and all details.

The multi-storey building includes individual offices, meeting rooms, an auditorium for company presentations and a business lounge on the top floor.

As the project represents the company's built reference, it should reflect its competencies in the implementation of high-quality architecture. We developed a concept of materials that were as unfinished as possible. The surfaces receive their actual refinement and value through precise detailing and careful processing. This skilful realisation of architectural details shows the competence of the building trade as well as the construction management in implementation and quality assurance. The design as well as its skilful implementation and realisation thus becomes the company's calling card. All materials were sourced from local suppliers, the wood is of local origin.

Sustainability was taken into account with cooling and heating elements integrated into the exposed concrete, which function at low temperature and the storage mass of the building components is thus thermally activated.

As the building is close to Winterthur University of Applied Sciences, two of the floors are rented out to students.

The ground floor and basement are thus occupied by the general contractor's offices, with the students in between and the VIP lounge for customers and the roof terrace above.

The fact that the owner and landlord are in the same building as the student apartments creates synergies in management. This saved costs, which were reinvested in the furnishing of the flats: at a favourable rent, it was possible to realise a beautiful interior that was very space-optimised thanks to customised and therefore sustainable.
