Ristorante Porto Romanshorn
Ristorante Porto Romanshorn
8The Ristorante Porto Romanshorn is the continuation of the success story of the Restaurant Hafen Romanshorn, which was realised by Susanne Fritz Architekten in 2015.
In April 2023, the Ristorante Porto Romanshorn opened in an imposing building, the former granary 'Kornhaus', in the immediate vicinity of the Restaurant Hafen Romanshorn and directly on the harbour.
Susanne Fritz Architekten designed the corporate identity and the ambience in the new Italian restaurant. Against the backdrop of a spaghetti-eating Sean Connery, Andy Warhol and Sophia Loren as pizza bakers and Jean Paul Belmondo with a slice of real Neapolitan pizza while shooting the film 'Two Women' in the 1960s, specialities from various regions of Italy will be served in the Porto restaurant.
Flying Pasta
High ceilings convey an urban sense of space and expanse, and have been covered with chandeliers reminiscent of giant flying pasta noodles.
The large windows of the historic building offer spectacular views of the harbour.
The 160 indoor seats are spread over two floors, and the 80 outdoor seats are also a great place to enjoy the Italian ice cream offered at the gelateria-style counter.
